Kentucky is my home. I was born in the Peaks Mill area of Frankfort and currently reside there with my Husband Jonathan and our three kids. We are an active family that is very involved in our church Forks of Elkhorn and our community. You often see us at concerts, soccer games, baseball field, dance, and everywhere in between. From a young age sales and people have been my passion. I have worked as the Joint Venture General Manager at several Panera Bread Companies over the span of almost 10 years. Then opened a boutique and sold gifts and smoothies. Sweet Sarah’s was a vibrant business and such a special time as it really allowed me to connect and plug into Central Kentucky. I’ve worked around real estate most of my young adult life, my bonus father & brothers own a very successful commercial real estate firm in Sarasota, FL. It was a job that I quickly fell in love with and have become (I say humbly) very successful. In the last seven years I have worked with hundreds of buyers and sellers and repeat clients on purchasing property. I have navigated residential, commercial, land, new construction, relocation, historic purchases, foreclosures, investments. In spring of 2022 I became a licensed broker and opened the doors to Keys to Kentucky Realty. Our home office is centrally located in Frankfort, KY but we service many counties in Central Kentucky. Originally born and raised in Estill County, Kendra Owens has lived in Frankfort for the past decade, where she married into a multi-generational farming family. She loves DIY and spending time with her three small daughters and helping her husband work around the farm. Kendra earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and liberal studies from University of Kentucky and is currently working on her master’s degree in industrial engineering from University of Louisville. Suzanne has been a top producer since her real estate career began just over 5 years ago. She has sold real estate all over the state of Kentucky. Before real estate she was a teacher in Scott, Nelson, and Franklin County schools and a major player in animal rescue and adoption efforts in Bardstown, Louisville, and now Georgetown. I am a lifelong resident of Frankfort and live in rural Franklin County on Elkhorn Creek with my husband, Barry, and our dog, Rumor. We raised our daughter and son here, and we now have the pleasure of watching our seven grandchildren grow up. I was born and raised in Frankfort. I graduated from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) with a degree in Marketing. Eventually, I moved back to Kentucky to join my family business, Sturm Insurance, where I have happily worked for the last 10 years. My husband, Paul, and I have two sassy and spunky daughters, Hailey and Reese. Paul and I love living in our hometown of Frankfort! We grew up here, we met here, and we are so happy to be raising our family here. Frankfort has blessed my family with so much; a career, a home, a family, and friendships. I was born and raised in Cambodia until the age of six. My family packed up everything we owned and moved to the US in the early 2000s with hopes to find our American dream in the land of opportunity. Growing up in a new environment (talk about a culture shock) had its own challenges but I have been so blessed. The struggles and hardships my parents went through for our family starting off and their unwavering resilience over the past 22 years to build a successful business of their own has instilled in a me tremendous amount of pride, gratefulness and drive. In 2015, I joined Clarity, an interpreting and translating service-based company in Lexington, Kentucky serving Central Kentucky and the surrounding areas. Being tri-lingual (Khmer, English and Mandarin) has allowed me to help those in my community. I currently reside in Frankfort with my wonderful Husband, Reed and our sweet goldendoodle, Louie (the light of my life but 100% a daddy’s boy). I graduated from Georgetown College with a bachelor’s degree in 2017. During COVID-19, I had the opportunity to work under the Public Health Commissioner. After the pandemic, Kentucky’s economy started to boom which led me to the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development where I am constantly in awe of how quickly our state is growing. My interest in real estate sparked at an early age when our family bought their first investment property. The return on that investment permitted them to invest in other properties that then allowed me firsthand to see all the possibilities and opportunities the real estate world had to offer. I was born in Anderson County, Kentucky, but made Frankfort my home in 2007. I graduated college from Kentucky State University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration. I have worked for the Commonwealth of Kentucky since May 2004, primarily focusing my career in the areas of Finance, Budget, Systems Management, and Financial Auditing. I have a son (Aiden), two daughters (Caroline and Aliza), and a life partner (Aaron) who all somehow put up with me and my shenanigans! I am very driven, determined, I have a strong work ethic, and I am hyper-focused on achieving goals. I have always had an interest in real estate, specifically buying and selling properties for profit; an area in which I have been very successful.
